Today,

Kassi, long term Officer - resigned from her office and left the guild.
We all wish the best for her - she was always there for everyone.

I personally would like her to thank her personally - without her i would have never been the tank i am today.

We will miss you Kassi - say Hi when u or an Alt is online.

Naxxramas

Last nite, we did a nearly full guild-manned raid on Naxxramas. Only exception to this was an additional Healer who came from Divine Talent: Shammanmaja.

We cleared the whole Arachnid Quarter killing the following bosses:

• Anub'Rekhan
• Grand Widow Faerlina
• Maexxna

Vault of Archavon

We went on to do conquer the Vault of Archavon
We wiped here several time killing Archavon the Stone Watcher due to the following issues:

• Aggro: the Aggro resets everytime you get picked up by the boss and the other tank has to take over the aggro fast or DPS gets killed. I was really failing here as the Main tank, due to forgetting one special Pally spell: Righteous Defense. This really helped getting aggro back which i failed the several wipes.....
• It is a DPS race ... you have 5mins to kill around 2.5 million HP and our DPS was not sufficient. So I had to replace one DPS. This is a tough call for the RaidLeader, but it had to be done. (Sladam - i will personally make sure you get better geared)

Hi,

i reactivated an old toon of mine Satai to take the role of the Guild Treasurer.
He will clean up the Guild Bank and sell stuff which is laying around for a long time.

We already made over 200G in the first day....

I am happy to announce that Calamari got promoted to Officer of the Epic Wipe.
In his role he will be the Master Looter for all Guild Raids.

Hall of Lightning.....or how to kill Loken on heroics.

Last night we tried again to kill Loken in Halls of Lightning. This is quite note an easy fight, because the whole group has to know what to do:

Loken has several special abilities:

• An aura that deals nature damage, to everyone, each second, the further you stand away from him, the more damge you receive.
• A Lightning Nova, that deals around 14k damage on heroic, with nature resistance this damage will be reduced
• A dot that will have a chance to bounce between party members
  

So the fight has several phases:
First when u tank him everyone has to be close to him so his Aura does not hurt u, then when he cast's Lightning Nova everyone has to run away.

we wiped around 10times and people where questioning themselves and others and even some thought about leaving the guild or even stop playing WoW....

So how did we do it ?
We had a good geared tank and an awesome Healer. in the beginning of the fight the DPS died quite quick and the tank decided to always stay close to Loken not running away from the Ligthning Nova. The healer Huhugh did an awesome action. he really ran away from Nova and came right back healing the tank......took a bit longer but it worked....
